Hydrologic Outlook National Weather Service Pendleton OR 1251 PM PST Mon Dec 19 2016 ...Rain and snowmelt may impact travel tonight and Tuesday... A weather system will bring rain to the lower elevations tonight and early Tuesday. Rain amounts will generally be between one- quarter and one-half inch with some locally higher amounts. The rain, combined with the melting of ice and snow will lead to ponding of water along roads and in area of poor drainage. Roadside ditches will likely run full with ice and storm drains may become clogged with ice and slush. People traveling through the area should be alert to ponding of water on the roads and possible hydroplaning. If you live near small streams or ditches, be aware of rising water.
